Last year the team visited the east coast to do some sight seeing and visit old friends. We were pretty much hyped the whole trip and it was the first time for a lot of us. We managed to get some footage of us traveling, getting to know people, and exploring the streets.
Checking out the landmarks.
Something about subways and the constant hustle to get places made the east coast experience complete.
After lugging our suitcases around DC throughout the day, we finally arrived at the bus station to take us to New York. We came at a very interesting time since Occupy Wall Street was in full effect. We had a chance to be in the middle of all the action.
If you’ve never been to New York before, it’s actually a really compact city. Everything is a matter of blocks away and you could walk to your destination if you really wanted to. Right across the street from Zuccotti Park is the Ground Zero memorial. We didn’t take photos inside the memorial but it’s truly a memorable sight.
The time change from west to east is pretty bad and we didn’t know that NY nightlife doesn’t pop off until 12 AM and end at 4 AM. Most of our mornings were spent sleeping in till about 1PM and enjoying the comfort of our SoHo apartment.
All in all, the trip was a dope experience for all of us. We are all definitely heading out there again at the end of this year with bigger plans for the east. We hope you enjoyed our recap. Thanks for watching.
