Less than a week ago, Lil Bibby released his the highly anticipated mixtape, Free Crack. The project includes 17 tracks with features from Lil Herb, King L, and more. After running through it, my favorite tracks (right now) would have to be “If You Knew”, “Whole Crew”, and “See Me Down”. Make sure you download the tape and see why the Chicago MC has next.
Shoutout to Lil Bibby with our dd Only Hoodie in his latest Change video.
Lil Bibby drops the latest visuals for his track “Know That” taking his viewers through the streets of Chicago. After being featured on XXL’s The Break, I’m glad to see him catching buzz in the streets and in the media as the anticipation continues to build for his Free Crack Mixtape (releasing this month). Shoutout to Bibby and his camp holdin’ it down in this video with our One Way tee and logo snapback.
Chicago native, Lil Bibby, releases his latest track Stressin’ coming off his highly anticipated mixtape Free Crack set to drop July 23rd, 2013. I first came across some of his music in the related section on youtube while listening to Lil Snupe (RIP) and his music’s been in rotation since. With a real calm delivery to his flow, this young MC brings clever wordplay and storytelling skills that’ll have you feeling like you’re right there.
Free Crack the mixtape drops July 23rd! In the meantime here are some tracks I have in rotation that’ll hold you over…
“If I’m the underdog get ready for a upset, got these haters upset cuz me and broski up next
I just ball hard, trap money, fuck checks – couple tracks killed I’m the only suspect”
- Afternoon Freestyle
“Everything for the low, bet they thinking I don’t make much
A few days the work gone, y’all boys take months
I save up, I don’t take fronts, no rotation we face blunts
Posted up, got killers with me and I dare a nigga to say something
They like bibby you intelligent, coulda’ been a president
I’d rather be a dope boy, I really love selling shit”
- For The Low
Who is Ash Riser? If you’re unfamiliar, take some time to scope out this video put together by the homies over at pointnshoottv featuring exclusive interviews from his Mother, Richie Stites, and Kendrick Lamar.
I heard Ash’s music before but was first introduced to him about a month ago through my homie Nate. I got a chance to chop it with him up a bit – hearing more about his style of music, current projects in the works and of course, I took the opportunity to introduce his camp to dimeadozen and the rest was history.
Now that you’re all caught up, let’s fast forward to Ash Riser’s latest release, Free. Fire the sirens people, we have ourselves a banger – bew, bew, bew, bewwww. All jokes aside though, the track has some real substance and the visuals tie in smooth as butter.
Shoutout to Ash for reppin the COTG hoodie and the logo snapback in this one too – ddFamily.
We like to show support for those who support us and with that being said, I would like to introduce Dusty Crates Records - a hip hop group hailing from Southern California. We linked up with them a couple weeks ago and got a chance to check out their recording studio. Walking through the hallways hearing sounds from other bands and artists leak out made it feel like something out of a movie. The actual recording room depicted the raw elements of hip hop; from the old school vinyl records, to the signed Pete Rock poster, everything in the room gives character and contribution to their sound. Its a known fact that hip hop hasn’t been the same lately, so its refreshing to hear music that pays homage to the Golden Age era. If you like underground music, tired of the radio, or just want to hear some good music, check out their soundcloud.
