This morning I woke up to news that Kid Cudi and Wale are supposedly beefin.  In a Complex interview, Kid Cudi called Wale a “simple ass rapper” for using his name in a freestyle.  You can listen to Wale’s response to it all here.  As everyone should already know, I’m a huge fan of Wale, but I’m also a fan of Cudi because of his creativity.  Lets hope this doesn’t last too long…rap beefs are getting old, they are both represent a new eras of rappers, and to make it even worst, they did a few tracks on eachother’s mixtapes together a while ago…

In honor of Phil Jackson’s birthday, NBA TV played old Laker games all day yesterday.  While most of the games I remember watching as a little kid running around the house in my Kobe jersey, I made sure to watch game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals.  For those who don’t remember, the Lakers were down by 15 in the fourth to the Blazers and ended up coming back to win the game, and eventually a Championship.  The alley-oop Kobe threw to Shaq with under a minute left is probably my favorite Laker highlight because it led to their first championship since my birth.

Nowadays everyone stays gettin inked up, but Wayne is (yet again) setting another trend.  While behind the camera’s for his newest video I Am Not a Human Being, Wayne takes some time out and shows off his new black light tattoos.  I could have sworn he was in jail…how did he manage to shoot and video AND get black light tattoos?!

For all you guys who don’t have a Twitter, you might wanna reconsider…  cuz yesterday videos hit youtube of DeMar DeRozan and Sonny Weems of the Toronto Raptors playing pick up ball at a rec center in Downtown Toronto.  Through Twitter a group of guys decided to hit DeMar DeRozan and Sonny Weems up and see if they would come play pickup ball with them…and they actually rolled through!  Before I made a Twitter I thought it was for little kids who wanted to “tweet” all day long…but here’s proof that a Twitter account is actually useful and good to have.  Check out the the videos…
